This album contains pictures from Kuala Gula, Perlis State Park and
some from Gunung Lang. These are taken with the Surplus Shed 50mm eyepiece,
the Swarovski scope and the SONY TRV950 camcorder. The only exception is
the picture of common kingfisher and the birders photo at Kuala Gula. These
two were taken with using the TRV900 instead.
I am now using almost exclusively the modified
Surplus Shed 50mm eyepiece for videoscoping because it gives
me the least vignetting and the quality of the glass is sharp enough. I
can get adequately sharp videos and photos but in the latter mode, there
is significant grain in most situations because the TRV950 cannot use a
shutter speed that is slower than 1/50 in the photo mode.
Below are pictures taken using the photo mode
of the TRV950 camcorder, unless otherwise specified. Some pictures had
been resized and cropped. Most have undergone photoshop enhancements. The
dollarbid picture had undergone Photoshop processing to remove a mild degree
of vignetting. Click on thumbnails to see larger picture. |
