A Malaysian Open House
album was added. This contains videos of the Chinese New Year celebration
(16 Feb 2002) organized by the Perak government. Some pictures of lion
dance, dragon dance and fireworks display are posted here. |

A Feb/Mar 2002 album
was added. Includes videos of a Chestnut-winged Cuckoo and some photo shots
with both of my camcorders. I have now started using Photoshop to edit
my photos and stopped using LViewPro. Hence, slightly better photo quality
will be expected in in this and subsequent albums. |

A new album for Mar 2002
is now added. This contains videos taken with the Swarovski scope, now
free of fungus, and some with the Kenko 3X teleconverter. Notable species
are the male Greater Paintedsnipe, Chinese Pond Heron (breeding plumage)
and a Cinnamon Bittern. |

A new album for Langkawi
Apr 2002 had been added. This album includes stills of the Mountain
Hawkeagle which is a first confirmed sighting for Malaysia. Other interesting
species include the Brown-winged Kingfisher, Slaty-breasted Rail, hornbills
and two species of owls. A colugo with its juvenile is also available. |

Apr 2002 Album. This
contains videos from Bintang Hijau, Bidor and Air Itam Dalam. Notable species
include three species of woodpeckers, two species broadbills, a trogon,
a chestnut-rumped babbler, jacana and two interesting dragonflies. |

May 2002 Album. This
album contains videos and photos taken with the TRV20 camcorder through
the Televue eyepiece. I was testing this combination in the hope of finding
an easy way to take vignet-free video. The results are encouraging. |

June 2002 Album. The
migrants have left but their absence is more than made up by the resident
species many of which have started or completed their breeding seasons.
Species include Black-and-yellow broadbills, three bulbuls, Chestnut-naped
Forktail, Mountain Imperial Pigeon, Greater Yellownape and a babbler. |

album is dedicated to the nesting pair of cutia found at the Telecoms loop
of Fraser Hill. I went there to take videos of them on 22-23 and 29-30
June. |

Oct 2002 Photo Album with TRV950.
I got my 3-CCD SONY TRV950 camcorder in mid-September. It has a photo mode
with a maximum resolution of 1152x864 pixels. This album shows some pictures
taken with this mode and my comments about this camcorder's photo mode. |

Grey-headed Flycatcher, Brown Shrike, Banded Woodpecker, Little Heron,

and Java Sparrow. Added on 26 Nov more pictures of a Brown Shrike and a
