My luck during September was not very good. I went to Pos Slim most of the times to try to look for the White-crowned Hornbill and Banded Broadbill. Did not see these species on multiple trips. I also went looking for a Red-bearded Bee-eater inside the logging trail but had no luck with it too. Only heard it calling from inside some bamboo thicket but could not video it.

However, the Chestnut-naped Forktails gave me some consolation and so this album is dominated by pictures of them. They stayed around the same part of the stream at the loggers camp and I had about 30 minutes of worthy video from a few trips. In addition, a Slaty-backed Forktail also occaionally came to the same stream and I also had some video of it. Interestingly, the Chestnut-naped would chase away the Slaty-backed as soon as they realize the latter is around. The birds often came so close to me that some of my videos had vignetting. Only if it was not raining most of the times or the lighting is better, I would have been a very happy man. All pictures were captured from interlaced video.

My trip to Genting at the end of the month was not very productive and no no picture from there.
