I was trained at University of Malaysia with a Master of Pathology, majoring in anatomic pathology. That means I study tissues and cells to help in disease management. I am a member of the College of Pathologist, Academy of Medicine Malaysia and also help to maintain the CPath website. My work entails peeping through microscopes in the laboratory and advising physicians via reports.
In the course of my work, I had tried some telepathology consultations. Some of the telepathology images are linked from here. Prior to 2000, I used a SONY 3CCD camera attached to the Olympus BH4 microcope tube to acquire these images. Since 2001, I use the  Nikon 990 digicam shooting through the eyepiece of the Leica DMLB microscopy eyepiece. No adaptor is used.
Below are my pathology stuffs :
Lecture: Static Telepathology A powerpoint lecture delivered in 2000. Converted into webpages.
Article: Chronic hepatitis C An article written in 1996. Given the rapid pace of medical advance and discoveries, the information there is probably obsolete by now.
Article: Role of Pathologist in cancer management. My first attempt at internet presentation.
Pathology Gallery: Tumorboard and Geocities. An assortment of digital images arising from my professional work.
Microscopic images from a case of pemphigus vulgaris. Four images each at three different levels of JPG compression are available. JPG compression can markedly reduce file size while maintaining reasonable image quality.
