Committee member | John Moh Foundation. This is an organization formed to honour Brother John Moh, the longest serving headmaster of SMJK Sam Tet Ipoh. |
Ordinary member | MMA (Malaysian Medical Association) is the largest doctor organization in Malaysia. |
Life member | PMPS, the Perak Medical Practitioner's Society. |
Life Member | I took up Tai Chi in 1993 and am still practising it now at Chin Woo Ipoh. This is a non-profit organization which also often gets involved in social or charity works. Besides Tai Chi and Kung Fu, it has interest groups for traditional dances, children kung fu classes, lion and dragon dances, and even a softball team. |

House Officer (1980) | When I did my housemanship in Ipoh Hospital, it still had very old buildings. I had the chance to work in those situations and then changed to the new building to actually experience the difference, all in the course of one year. |
Medical Officer,
MOH (1980-81, 83-87) |
As an MO (medical officer) with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, I worked in Ipoh and Grik in various disciplines. |
Army Captain
(1981-83) |
I was recruited into the Armed Forces as a Regimental Medical Officer from 1981-1983, serving in Kota Belum, Taiping, Grik and even Kroh. |
Employed Pathologist
(1991-99) |
I was employed for five years in Pathlab and another four in BP Lab. Didn't like to be a 'Ta Kong Chai' (employee) forever and so in the new millenium I moved to my present consultant appointment in LabLink. |

STOBA stands for Sam Tet Old Boy's Association of Ipoh. |

Perak Hainan Assoc. (1999-2000) |
This is another large and well organized instituition. One of the very old associations for our ancestors from the island of Hainan. |
